Summary/Objective


Extruder operators are responsible for setting up, maintaining and running the extrusion lines.


Essential Functions

  1. Operators are responsible for setting up and running the extrusion line.
  2. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
  3. Attains production goals by accurately and timely completing work orders with minimum supervision
  4. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  5. Responsible for personal compliance of all OSHA and Bulldog Hose rules and regulations


Non-Essential Functions

  1. Accurately records time worked and allocates time to the appropriate job(s).
  2. May operate a forklift as needed


Work Environment


The team member occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and performs work from a variety of different angles and body positions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.  


Physical Demands


The position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, twisting and crouching. The team member must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds. 


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Hours are of work:

  1. 1 position open for - Second shift 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
  2. 1 position open for - Third shift 11:00pm to 7:30am


Opportunities to work extended hours and on weekend work may be optional or required as job duties demand.


Required Education and Experience

  1. High School diploma or GED diploma, or three to six months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  2. Industry experience is preferred but not required.  All new employees will receive on the job training.
